One of the first shoppers at Wellspring’s Holiday Store on Sunday morning decided to “pay it forward” by paying the entry fee for the person waiting in line behind her. We ask our shoppers to pay $2 per child, which buys three gifts each. This nominal fee is meant not to be prohibitive, but to provide dignity to parents, so that they can feel pride in providing for their kids.

When the next shopper got to the check-in desk and was told what had occurred, that person also chose to pay for the next person in line. And so on. And so it went for much of the day.

Generosity is contagious.

The Cape Ann community is amazing.

We are so thankful to everyone who donated and volunteered to help make Wellspring’s Holiday Store possible! This important event could not happen without everyone’s support.

Thank you.
