Homelessness Prevention Fund & Resources
Wellspring’s Homelessness Prevention Fund is a resource for families in crisis who need one-time financial assistance in order to stay in stable housing.
- An adult guardian/parent living with a child or children under 18 years of age.
- A resident of Cape Ann (Gloucester, Rockport, Magnolia, Essex, Manchester, Ipswich).
- A family on the verge of becoming homeless.
The Fund helps families stay in their homes by covering a one-time cost such as one month’s rent, a security deposit, a car payment or a utility bill. In some cases, families may receive help in securing a new living situation.
If you think you may be eligible for this assistance, please call our Homelessness Prevention Fund line at: 978-281-3558 ext. 311.
Messages are received and returned Monday-Friday within 72 business hours. If a family does not meet the above criteria, they will be referred to other resources to help meet their needs.
