Your tax deductible donation will go to work immediately. Whether it is emergency shelter or stable housing, education or job training, donated funds are used to empower individuals and families in their journey toward economic self-sufficiency.

Many companies match gifts to non-profits. Contact your human resources office to find out if your company has a matching gift program.
Items Needed for Wellspring’s Shelter
As families are placed in permanent housing, and new families arrive the shelter is always in need of the following items:
- New pillows
- New twin-size sheet sets
- Twin sized comforters
- New towels
- Gift cards for guest emergency food and pharmacy needs (Market Basket, Shaw’s, CVS, Walgreens)
- DVDs (can be Blu-ray or regular) for children of all ages and families
- Gift cards for groceries and/or transportation services
- Gift cards and toys for the Holiday Store

Professional Clothing Donations
Wellspring’s “Awesome Closet” offers a selection of gently worn men’s and women’s business attire for our program participants to select from for interviews or new jobs in all sizes. Participants in our education, job training and homelessness prevention programs, as well as shelter guests are welcome to “shop” for free. It’s a great way to help make a good impression and have something nice to wear until those first few paychecks come in and finances even out.
If you have clothing, professional or otherwise, that you would like to donate to Wellspring Participants, please contact Mary Hardwick, Hospitality Manager and Volunteer Coordinator.
Donations are accepted Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm.
Please Note: We are no longer accepting winter clothes for the 2018/2019 season. We will begin accepting spring/summer clothes starting on Monday, April 1, 2019.
