Give In-Kind
Wellspring House works with more than 2,000 families and young adults across 20+ North Shore communities each year, offering homelessness prevention, transitional housing, education, job training, and career advising to help people move from crisis to confidence.
A critical but often invisible ingredient in that work is everyday essentials – hygiene products, household supplies, linens, and clothing that families need when they move into housing. Most assistance programs don’t cover these items, yet they’re indispensable to what makes everything else possible. Providing these items helps Wellspring case managers build trusting relationships with the parents and families we work alongside.
There are two ways to join in:
- Partner with us on a donation drive. Businesses, schools, civic groups, and faith communities can host regular drives that keep essential supplies stocked year-round.
- Host a community gathering. Bring Wellspring’s mission into your own home or community space with a small, intimate gathering that combines in-kind giving with personal storytelling about our work.

Can I donate items not listed here (e.g., kitchenware or furniture)?
We are only accepting the items listed with plans made in advance. For all other items, please take a look at Wellspring’s community partners page. Another local organization might be looking for those items.
Do you accept gently used linens or towels?
We only accept brand-new linens, towels, and pillows for health and safety reasons.
Can I drop off donations at Wellspring (302 Essex Avenue)?
We only accept donations with plans made in advance. Please contact Wellspring’s Community Liaison.
Do you need children’s clothing or toys?
We are not accepting general children’s items.
