At Wellspring House, we believe every detail counts when creating a welcoming, stable environment for those on their journey toward sustained success and opportunity. Your thoughtful donations help individuals and families feel safe, supported, and at home.
What We Need Most Right Now
Family Shelter Needs:
- Pillows (new only)
- Twin-size sheet sets & comforters (new only)
- Bath towels (new only)
- Gift cards for food or pharmacy needs (Market Basket, Shaw’s, CVS, Walgreens)
- Grocery & transportation gift cards
Customized Clothing Drives:
Wellspring partners with businesses and groups to coordinate pre-planned, seasonal customized clothing drives. Please contact us if you are interested in planning a business casual clothing drive.
We do not accept individual clothing donations.

Can I donate items not listed here (e.g., kitchenware or furniture)?
We are only accepting the items listed with plans made in advance. For all other items, please take a look at Wellspring’s community partners page. Another local organization might be looking for those items.
Do you accept gently used linens or towels?
We only accept brand-new linens, towels, and pillows for health and safety reasons.
Can I drop off donations at Wellspring (302 Essex Avenue)?
We only accept donations with plans made in advance. Please contact Wellspring’s Community Liaison.
Do you need children’s clothing or toys?
We are not accepting general children’s items.
