Each year, more than 80 individuals from across the North Shore choose to prepare for and take the HiSET exam at Wellspring’s state-sponsored testing center (the only one on Cape Ann).
With the support of dedicated tutors, you’ll receive one-on-one help with math, reading, writing, social studies, and science. Whether you’re just getting started or picking up where you left off, we’ll meet you where you are, and in as little as 8 to 10 weeks, you can build the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
You’ll also get access to helpful resources, personalized instruction, and test-taking strategies designed to set you up for success. When you’re ready, you can take your HiSET exam at Wellspring’s West Gloucester headquarters, where you have the option to take a paper-based or computer-based exam in Spanish or English.
While participants must schedule their own tests, our staff is always available to guide you through the process and cheer you on.
How do I get started with tutoring?
To complete an intake meeting, reach out to Wellspring’s Director of Education, Andy Allen at aallen@wellspringhouse.org or 978-281-3558 ext. 307 to complete an intake.
After your intake meeting, you will receive a welcome package and practice exam to complete and send back to us. This will help Wellspring staff match you with one of our expert tutors.
