Progress Years in the Making
From High School Planning to College Graduation
This spring marked a special milestone at Wellspring as we celebrated the first college graduates from our Cape Ann scholarship programs.
Their journeys with Wellspring began years earlier, as high school students working with our advisors to think about what might come next. With individualized career advising and scholarship support, those early plans grew into opportunities, and this year, into college degrees.
Their accomplishments are a powerful reminder that progress isn’t always measured in days or months. Sometimes it unfolds over years, one milestone at a time.
Two recent college graduates are paving their own paths forward. Kaelyn and Yahir spoke at Wellspring’s 2026 Scholarship Celebration, where 18 new scholarships were awarded, and both have already secured employment.
Yahir, who graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst joined the Hockey East Association’s marketing team, and Kaelyn, a recent alumna of Sacred Heart University is working on the marketing and events team at Rodgers Ski and Sport.

“When I received my scholarship, I was extremely grateful not
just for the financial support but also for the mentorship along
with it. Going into my first year of college, there were many
aspects that made me anxious.”– KAELYN, SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT
