Full-time Accountant – Gloucester, MA

Vital to our continued success, Wellspring House, Inc. is creating a new position to support our expanding programs.

Required Qualifications, Education, & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP policies including non-profit accounting standards
• Minimum of 5 years full-time experience as an accountant, preferably in a non-profit
• Payroll processing through outside payroll service
• Proficient in all aspects of Sage 50 and MS Office Suite

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of full cycle Accounts Payable function
• Assist the DOFHR with preparation of materials for annual audit
• Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements and 1099 forms
• Track expenditures against program budgets & prepare budget to actual monthly reports

Wages: Range of $32-$34 per hour plus benefits
